Black Beans and Onions

1 tsp butter
1 15-ounce can black beans
1 medium onion, chopped
Salt
Pepper to taste

Preparation

1. Melt the margarine in a skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and sauté for 5 minutes. The onion should stay crisp, not brown.

2. Add the beans and cook for 3 - 4 more minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
